Sing with Renaissance City Choir in our 2020 Cabaret: Villains and Heroes!
Open call Cabaret auditions are taking place through December 20 (see detailed schedule below) and by appointment.
There are two options for singers: You may sing in the full ensemble as part of the choir. If you are new to the choir, or if you did not sing with the choir for our 2019 Holiday Concert, you asked to take a vocal placement with the Artistic Director to assess your singing range.
All those wishing to audition for a solo or a small group need to audition by themselves. All persons auditioning are encouraged to share their desired solo, or small group that they would like to be a part; however, it is not certain that you will be asked to sing the solo that you auditioned with.
If you are auditioning for solos or small groups, please be sure to bring sheet music with you for your song showcasing a villain or hero character.
Auditions and vocal placements will take place in the music room on the third floor of East Liberty Presbyterian Church (map).
Emailing a preferred time to audition for either a solo or to take a placement is not required. You may do so if you wish. Also if you find that you are not able to make any of the open times for auditions/placement, please email S.C. directly at email@example.com to see if an additional time can be set up.
