RCC Picnic and Reunion — Join Us!

You are invited to a Renaissance City Choir Picnic and Reunion, Sunday, August 28, 2022.

Do you miss your RCC friends and the special community that we are? Would you like to spend some time with former, current, and new singers? Even if you are not singing with us this fall, please join in the fellowship! If you are an event volunteer, you are invited, too.

Location:

Rhododendron Shelter at Highland Park, Lake Drive, Pittsburgh PA 15206 (map)

Street parking. Playground and accessible portable toilet. Bring kids, families, and lawn games (corn hole, spike ball, frisbee, etc.), since this shelter has a good bit of grass space. Maybe a lawn chair if you like to mingle on the lawn.

Schedule:

3:00 p.m. Gather

4:00 p.m. Remarks by Director Kym and Board President Morgan, and introduction of other Board members, followed by Q&A.

6:30 p.m. Wrap it up

But really you can arrive any time and leave any time.

No rain date – the shelter is large enough to keep us all dry.

Food and other details:

Bring a dish to share, but don’t stay away if you don’t have one! If you bring a shared dish, please label the ingredients on a card or sticker.

A charcoal grill will be hot at 4:30 for anyone who wants to bring their own grilling item(s).

The Board will supply non-alcoholic beverages. Bring your own alcoholic beverage if desired. NO glass bottles/containers.

No smoking, tobacco use, or vaping. No RSVP. Masks are required for rehearsals but not for the picnic. Follow your own comfort level.
